| Lately there are an increasing number of cases where the air-conditioning units are housed inside the ceilings in the course of building renewal. For use in such an instance, DRAINSWEEPER is designed to drain the condensation from air-conditioning units without having to depend on gravity and being completely free of obstruction. With use of flexible tubes of φ16mm and φ8mm, its drain pipe can be laid easily as long as there is an opening barely large enough to let these small sized tubes through. It works ideally for any location which would otherwise require a major architectural redesigning ; where the cost of pipelaying is excessive or it would be unseemly if the pipeline is left exposed. |

[PRODUCT OUTLINE]
It uses the suction power of a vacuum pump to continuously and forcibly draws out the condensation from an air-conditioning unit to drain. Unlike the conventional drain pipe line, it does not require an incline for gravity. With use of φ16mm and φ8mm flexible tubes as well as specially designed easy to install fittings, a pipe line can be laid easily as long as there is an opening large enough to let these small sized tubes through. The shortness of the time required for installation helps reduce the cost.
DRAINSWEEPER is installed in the lower part of a building, such as in a basement machine room. It is capable of handling the condensate collected from several tens of plugged into ceiling mounted type air conditioners.
A specially designed duct hose connects the drain port of an air conditioner to a drainage receiving tank. The drainage that accumulates in a receiving tank is sucked through a flexible tube into a drain pipe normally built inside the building’s pipe shaft and then ultimately into a DRAINSWEEPER unit.
The W-type utilizes two vacuum pumps, which act in unison until a certain degree of vacuum is generated. The pumps then automatically switch to alternating mode, creating a system that increases durability and reliability.
The newly released Drain Sweeper Quarter uses new technology to realize a compact form. It can be placed near the sink or in other locations to perform drainage processing on individual floors.
